It`s body is quite long and rather round in shape. It has large head, rather large eyes, wide mouth and big scales. It has 2 pairs of barbels. It has brown-yellow body, black-grey back, light white belly, pink anal fin and light read other fins in color.
It dwells in running water in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Nakhonsawan and Phichit Province, including in Chao Phraya River and Mae klong River.
It eats nearly all kinds of seed and grain. Some types of seed are poisonous.
It is peaceful, easily frightened, easy to be raised, fast growing. It likes to stay as a group. It is actively and nimbly.
It`s body length is about 20 – 30 centimeters.
