Welcome
The 17th SEAZA Annual Conference is hosted by Zoological Park Organization, under the Royal Patronage of H. M. the King of Thailand. The Annual Conference is one of the stages where all SEAZA’s people can join together sharing, taking, giving their experiences to each others.

The 17th SEAZA Annual Conference will be held in Chonburi, Thailand during Nov 30 - Dec 4, 2008. The participants will enjoy not only the warmest meeting of SEAZA, but also enjoy the SEA, SUN, and SAND of Pattaya Beach of the South East Coast of Thailand.

Scopes
The scope of this meeting is in the fields of zoo management, medicine, education and conservation including: animal management, reproduction, animal health & diseases, pathology, epidemiology and zoo environment.

Participants
The participants are zoo directors, curators, keepers, veterinarians (working as clinicians, researchers and lecturers), scientists/ researchers (biologist, primatologist, pathologist, microbiologist, epidemiologist, ecologist), policy maker and those concern with zoo management, medicine, education and conservation.

Programs
The 17th SEAZA annual conference will be held from Nov 30 - Dec 4, 2008 Programs include: (1) Executive board meeting, (2) Committee meeting, (3) Scientific Programs, (4) Pattaya city tour and a visit to Khao Kheow Open Zoo will be available for all participants free of charge, (5) Excursion tours to the vicinities will be arranged for all participants and accompanying persons who are interested and registered to the organizing committee and it will be charged.

The Scientific Programs of SEAZA 2008 will accommodate a range of different session-types. The official language of the scientific meeting will be English.

• General Sessions. Oral presentations, each of 20 minutes (including questions).
• Poster Sessions. Poster Sessions will take place during the conference. Opportunities to view and present posters will be extensive, and posters are regarded as equivalent to oral presentations.
• Other Sessions. Upon request to the Scientific Committee, further sessions may be accommodated such as Workshops and Roundtable Discussions.

Registration fee will covers scientific meeting materials, lunches, dinners and snacks during the meeting and Pattaya City Tour and a visit to Khao Kheow Open Zoo.

Meeting Venue and accommodation
                We chose the famous  Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi Province on the south east coast of Thailand to host SEAZA 2008 annual meeting. Accommodation at the Conservation and Research Training Center, within Khao Kheow Open  Zoo (Meeting venue).
